Office and retail opportunities
Top companies like KPMG, PwC, Miller Thomson, GFL Environmental and Harley-Davidson Canada are choosing Downtown Vaughan.
“Located in the heart of the GTA, Vaughan was a clear choice for us to set up a new office. We are better positioned—literally—to service clients across the GTA and in York Region.” – Sebastian Distefano, KPMG Regional Managing Partner, GTA
Why Downtown Vaughan is the clear choice
Save time with regional transit and highway access
At the heart of our emerging downtown is the VMC Mobility Hub with subway, rapid bus, and local bus service to Toronto, Markham, Brampton, and across Vaughan.
With direct access to Highways 400 and 407, it’s easy to get around by car too.
Access a world-class talent pipeline
There are nine universities and 14 colleges within one hour of Vaughan, collectively producing 176,000+ university and 126,000+ college-enrolled students every year.
This includes Niagara University, which is located in the VMC’s Expo City complex. Niagara offers teacher training and master’s programs in business administration, information security and digital forensics, and finance. York University, Canada’s third largest university, is only two subway stops away.
Serve a growing community and commuter hub
The VMC is booming with 16 high-rise and mid-rise towers built or under construction and lots more tower and townhouse developments still to come. This downtown will be rising and expanding for another 15-20 years.
Downtown Vaughan has 4,200 residents now and will have about 13,000 residents when current construction projects are complete. The pipeline of approved and proposed applications has enough units to house more than 60,000 residents.
The VMC Mobility Hub already has 15,000 daily subway riders and 5,600 average weekday bus travelers.
Work-life balance made easy
Your highly-educated workforce is looking for something only the VMC can offer: a quick commute to work, beautiful new housing options, extensive and interconnected green spaces, and a short walk to urban amenities. Visit the Living in the VMC page for more reasons why this is the place to be.
Available office and retail space
Demand has been strong but limited retail and office space is available now in these developments:
Three new office towers are in the development pipeline and recruiting anchor tenants. Temporary locations may be available to bridge the gap during construction. Contact us to learn more.
